Neuropsychological Evaluation

With expertise in behavioral aspects of brain functioning, Dr. Buckwalter assesses a range of injuries/diseases and normal aging processes that affect the brain:

Psychological Assessment

Individuals contact Dr. Buckwalter for psychological assessment of I.Q., Personality, Surgical readiness, Personal insight, and qualification for organizations such as MENSA, as well as for evaluation of mental health issues.

Competency Evaluations

Dr. Buckwalter provides comprehensive assessment of an adult’s mental capacity to manage medical affairs, financial affairs, and testamentary matters related to the drawing up of a will.

“Fitness for Duty” Evaluations

Comprehensive psychological and/or neuropsychological assessment of potential or current employees and of students in academic institutions when questions have arisen as to their mental/behavioral and/or cognitive fitness to perform a specific job. These evaluations are usually done when a circumstance occurs that may impair an employee from successfully doing their job, or impair a student from continuing their course of study.

Disability Evaluations

Comprehensive assessment of a range of cognitive and mental disorders for which an adult or his/her family are seeking to apply for state disability is available.

Medico-Legal Evaluations

Dr. Buckwalter provides comprehensive evaluations on a Psychological and/or Neuropsychological basis for individuals involved in legal proceedings.
